Todd Young

Artist Bio

Todd is a truly self-taught artist. He started painting in 2001, and has been selling on-line since 2002.

He has sold over 12,000 paintings and reproduction prints to collectors throughout the United States and worldwide.

In 2003. Todd devoted himself to be a full-time artist and the family business began with his wife managing the daily operations.

Todd was born in North Carolina and grew up in Indiana. As a boy in a small Midwestern town, Todd was a modern day Tom Sawyer.

He would ride his bike out in the country to play in the woods and fish in the creek. He always had a love of animals and nature and the peace they bring.

2002, the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis purchased one of his large paintings.

This painting is currently being used in an educational traveling trunk as a resource of all Indiana teachers (K-12).

Todd’s Scottie painting titled “Once in a Blue Moon” was on the March/April 2007 cover of Great Scots Magazine.

July 2008, one of Todd’s large forest paintings was selected to be part of a movie set.

The move titled “I Hate Valentine’s Day” starred Nia Vardalos and John Corbett (both from “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”).

September 2008, the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette newspaper wrote a very nice article about Todd and his art.

2011, Paperlink, a UK greeting card company, contracted Todd’s art for some new greeting cards.

2012, a painting of Todd’s appeared on the cover of a poetry chapbook published by New Sins Press.

2013, because of the demand of greeting cards and larger prints, Todd started a store at Fine Art America.

They offer a variety of sizes, surfaces and framing options, with a money back guarantee.

2015, two of Todd’s paintings appear in a book titled, “The Book of the Dog” by Angus Hyland and Kendra Wilson, published by Laurence King Publishing, London.

Todd is a graduate of Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL with a B.S. in Psychology.

He and his family live in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
